2.29 1/2 Top Dog

Just a quick entry before we head back to LA — Top dog is a little hole in the wall hotdog hut in Berkeley. I just wanted to mention it quickly because it’s good and cheap and the guy running the joint is so cool, efficient and pleasant.
There’s a dozen types of dogs at $3 each. I tried the smoked chicken apple:
This is the all beef kosher style Top Dog.

This one guy runs the whole show, greeter, cashier and cook. If it were me I’d be freaking out and dropping dogs left and right, but he’s smooth and got everything under control.
Overall it’s a good place to make a quick stop for a good dog, service was very pleasant and quick, dogs are cheap and tasty. if I was at Berkeley I’d be here a lot. a LOT. See y’all back in LA.
